Diagnostic Assessment. Administered during the first session, it assesses strengths and learning gaps in the concepts your child is to study with Heather.
Diagnostic Results & Tutoring Plan. Parents receive a detailed email with the diagnostic results and an individualized learning plan.
Session Reports. After each session, Heather sends an email detailing the activities your child completed, their progress, and any other relevant information.
Private, Personalized Attention. Heather provides a private Zoom classroom, so your child can learn in the comfort of their own home. Resources are chosen according to your child's strengths, academic gaps, personal interests, learning style, and academic goals. These include interactive whiteboards, games, high-interest readings, and more.
Homework is Optional. It is given at the parent's request, but it isn't mandatory. Yes, it's great to get in a little extra practice between sessions. But if it will pile on more stress to your child's already busy week, then it may be best to skip it.
